We use plant-derived ingredients and do not test on animals. Our products are free from parabens, sulphates, mineral and castor oils, as well as artificial colours, flavours and synthetic fragrances.

Essential Dog began with a simple belief: the everyday routines dogs depend on deserve thoughtful formulas and a gentler approach.
After two years of research, we set out to offer Australian-made and owned grooming and skin care that moves beyond the synthetic fragrances and sulphates found in much of the category.
The starting point
Care should feel good—for dogs and the people who love them.
From the beginning, the focus has been on making the small, repeatable moments of care feel more considered. Essential Dog products were developed with veterinarians, naturopaths, chemists and natural perfumers to create an ultra-gentle, pH-balanced range for real routines.
That original question still guides every product: how can a wash, a brush or a skin-care step better support a dog’s everyday comfort?

Please note: Essential Dog products are not designed for cats, as essential oils can present problems for cats.
